TROSKY FATHER SON CONCEPT 

• Over the past 25 years I ran Trosky Father / Son baseball camps at Stanford University. The camps were well received, but there was just one problem, there wasn’t enough time. With the shortage of time, we moved from the 1-day camp model to a 3 day overnight camp model
• The father / son camp concept came from years of observing the business of lives and the challenge to make time to build the father / son bond, one of the most important bonds inl life. I also recognized that a player’s dad is often times his most significant coach. Understanding these 2 truths, we created this 3-day life changing experience 
• Camp is about building the father / son bond, developing elite infielders, empowering fathers to be great dads and great coaches  
• My desire is that the fathers of the players also get better from attending camp, so that they can be a significant contributor in their son’s development as they mature and advance in the game 

CAMP TALKS

• All camp talk will be geared for players that desire to reach the height of their ceiling and that looking to bring out the best version of themselves
• The camp talks will be taught by coach Trosky and geared for both the players and the dads in attendance 

INFIELD WORKOUTS

• The elite infield workouts will take place on site at Rancho Grande on their baseball field. The field has a full size diamond built by Richard Murad, his prize possession of the ranch. The field is dirt. rustic, beautiful, and scenic. It’s placed in the center of Rancho Grande, in the horse pasture
• All workouts will be directed and coached by coach Trosky
• The workouts are designed for elite infield development
• Regardless of the talent level, each player will be challenged and will improve tremendously
• We encourage the dads to participate in the training as well as help coach

PLAYER EVALUATIONS

• Each player will receive a hand written player evaluation completed by coach Trosky and the final day of camp will have a one on one sit down with coach Trosky to answer questions, discuss strengths, weaknesses, and future projection
• The player evaluations will be completed by coach Trosky 

PHYSICAL TOOL DEVELOPMENT 

• At camp we will be focusing on the development of 3 of the 5 physical tools; the run, throw, and defensive tool 

RANCH TOUR 

• After our camp introduction, we will do a ranch tour of the beautiful 200 acres of Rancho Grande

MENTAL GAME 

• The mental game talks will be apart of the daily training and focus on developing the 6th Tool (the character and mental makeup of elite players). The talks will be targeted for both the dads and the players
• The mental game talks will be delivered daily by coach Trosky 

BOND FIRE 

• Each night we will relax around a traditional bond fire. This is where we will enjoy our evening talks, desert, and just a great place to relax

NIGHT ACTIVITY 

• Night activities consist of star gazing, basketball, wiffle ball, horse shoes, and Vitilla 

FREE TIME

• Free time will consist of Relaxing, Hiking, Hanging out with the other players, boating, swimming, basketball, wiffle ball, vitilla, journaling, and spending time with the animals

• The ranch has WIFI in certain areas. The password is borisisagoat. It works well in the front of the ranch and near the patio kitchen by the pond
