Dominican Baseball Thanksgiving Adventure 2025 High School - 11/23/25 - 11/29/25 - 7 Days

GROUND TRANSPORTATION:

In Dominican Republic, all ground transportation to scheduled activities is included.

ACCOMMODATION:

Hotel accommodations are conveniently located near the beach and by tourist shopping areas. This year’s hotel, will be the Whala Boca Chica. It is only 13 minutes from the airport where players and family will be landing.

DINING:

3 meals are provided daily in the hotel restaurant. All meals are served buffet style. The resort is all-inclusive for meals and drinks.

BEACH ACTIVITY:

Throughout the vacation, players and family members will have the opportunity to enjoy leisure time at the beach. We will have fun activities planned for the group as well.

BASEBALL:

All baseball activities.

WATER:

All you can drink purified water (provided by the hotel).

AIRFARE:

DR Adventure participants should arrive at SDQ Airport Dominican Republic. Trosky staff will meet travelers at the airport.

PASSPORT FEES:

All passengers must have a valid passport to travel to the Dominican Republic. For US Citizens go to www.travel.state.gov for instructions on applying for, or renewing, your passport.

NON-SCHEDULED MEALS:

Meals offsite or at non-scheduled times

TRAVEL INSURANCE:

Travel insurance is not provided by Trosky Baseball but is highly recommended. All fees paid to Trosky Baseball are non-refundable; however, you may be reimbursed for the full cost of your trip depending on the travel insurance you purchase.

MINORS TRAVELING WITHOUT BOTH PARENTS

Travelers under the age of 18 who are not traveling with BOTH of their parents are required to carry three (3) copies of a notarized letter signed by their parent(s) not traveling with them.  The letter must authorize the minor to travel to the Dominican Republic with their travel companion/alone depending on your specific circumstance. If you need help knowing what forms or letters need to be completed, please contact a travel agent who is familiar with travel to the Dominican.

ARRIVAL / AIRPORT PICK UP

A member of the Trosky staff will meet you at the airport to take you to the Whala Boca Chica team hotel in Boca Chica. When you arrive at Santo Domingo airport (SDQ) you will go through customs, then baggage claim, and then down a long hallway with glass doors at the end.  You will come to the pick-up area. Look for the coach with a sign for Trosky Baseball.  If you do not see the Trosky representative, please wait until they return. They will bring you to the hotel to receive your room information and get settled. We will have transportation arranged to bring you back to the airport for your departure flight at the end of the trip.

Coach Trosky’s friend and private driver is available for trip participants who may want to do something separate from the group and is not included in the trip itinerary (special tours, trips to the city, etc.) He is bilingual and speaks English well and is happy to translate if you need help interacting with locals.
